Compass With Lattitude goes to Banff

Compass With Latitude
Compass with Lattiude is one of Lesley's works going to the Banff Centre for the summer Festival. This work explores one of the major themes of the opera Frobisher; the lone figure who must navigate her way in a vast landscape.

Certificate in Visual Design, University of Calgary

This winter semester, Lesley completed the Certificate in Visual Design program from University of Calgary Continuing Education. Over a five year period she took 250 hours of courses including art history, drawing, colour, design principles, history of design and photography. She specialised in Art Theory and Practice while other graduates focused on photography, interior design, land scape design or completed it as a general certificate.
It is a flexible program with classes offered at night and weekends on the University of Calgary campus.

Meta Incognita Moves to the Banff Centre

Articulation's exhibition of Meta Incognita has finished at the Southern Jubilee, Calgary. Part of the exhibition will go to the Banff Centre for the Summer Festival July 2 to August 12, 2007. The works will be installed in the foyer of the Eric Harvie Theatre at the Centre.
The gallery hours are, weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and weekends 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
All of the works in the exhibition relate directly to the themes and story of the opera Frobisher . There will be 3 performances of the opera at the Centre with the opening night on Wednesday August 8th, 2007 and performances on August 10th and 12th.
